Checked before they can be booked
Anyone can make a profile. Taking bookings needs an identity check first — until it passes, a professional does not appear in search.
- A government ID — Aadhaar or PAN — with a photograph of the document.
- The number checked for validity, and the document read by someone on our team.
- Approved before they can list a single service. Rejected, and there is nothing to book.
Reviews come from real appointments
Only someone who completed a booking can leave a review. There is no way to post one without an appointment behind it — which also means a new professional starts with nothing rather than with a manufactured reputation.
Your number stays yours
Messages about a booking go through Estylr, so your conversation stays on the platform and there is a record of what was agreed.
The professional you book does get your phone number — they need to reach you if they are running late or cannot find the address. Nobody else on the platform sees it.
Booking someone who comes to you
Home appointments are worth being deliberate about.
- Check the profile first — the ID badge, the portfolio, the reviews.
- Keep the conversation in the app, so there is a record of what was agreed.
- Tell someone you trust when the appointment is.
- If the person who arrives is not the person on the profile, do not let them start.
If something goes wrong
Report it, even if you are not sure it is serious enough. A person reads every report, and we can refund a booking, remove a professional, or involve the police where that is the right answer.
What we expect from professionals
Work only within what they are trained and licensed to do, keep their tools clean, honour the price they listed, and treat customers with respect.
Breaking that ends the listing. There is no strike system for safety.
Book someone who has been checked
Everyone taking bookings on Estylr has passed an identity check first.
